The Secret to Successful Blogging

Posted on 05. Dec, 2007 by in Online Marketing

A man walks into a bookshop and says “Can I have a book by Shakespeare?”
“Of course, Sir, which one?”
The man replies, “William.”

This is of course merely an amusing joke, but it displays the subject I would like to share with you today, and in my opinion, this is one of the keys to successful blogging…

You have to explain things in a simple or relatable manner, so that the majority of your readers will grasp what you are trying to explain.

I am sure we can all remember a teacher from school who was able to explain complex subjects in a way that we could all relate to.

There are also many people who are incredibly intelligent, but they are unable to explain things in a basic and simple way, so they get ignored.

When you are writing on the net remember the KISS theory: Keep It Simple Stupid.

There we go, I have made my point, no need for mindless rambling or filler content.

Adios.

I have been following along with how you build your blog and the articles you post.
    Hi Dean,

What amazes me, is how you get such high rankings for your blogs in such a short time frame.

Can you give more detaisl as to how to create a more powerful blog and how to drive traffic to your blog.

I do try to keep it simple on my blog and I post only articles I am sure will inspire my readers, but my blog needs more traffic to become a talked about blog.
