SEO for Dummies part five
Posted on 21. Feb, 2007 by DeanHunt in SEO
Welcome to the final part of our five part mini course into the world of SEO. By now you should be armed with enough information to get a regular stream of traffic from Google and co. But there is one final rule you will need to follow to get maximum results……. Be patient & don’t forget your visitor.
Google is always updating its rankings and results, so don’t expect to see instant results. Also note that for the first 9 months your site will probably be placed in what is known as the Google sandbox, so your rankings will be less than normal.
Also, it is easy to get caught up in what Google wants, but this should always come second to what your visitor wants. I have seen sites with low traffic make a lot of money, and I have seen high traffic sites make a loss. Remember this when making your site.
