10 Ways To Annoy Digg Users

Digg readers can be very important to your website, so it is best to try and ensure that your site will not annoy them.
So with this in mind I have compiled a list of the ten main reasons why Digg readers will think your site sucks.
Too many adverts – So you have managed to get on the front page of Digg and all of a sudden you have added another 10 adverts to your site. How very cheap!
Dead Links – This is a very frustrating error. Double check all the links on your site and make sure that they are working correctly.
Text Visibility – Not every surfer has perfect vision, so make sure that your text is clear and easy to read. If a Digg user cannot read your text then how can they vote for you?
Popups – There is nothing more annoying to a Digg user than popups. Find another way of earning from your site and remove your popups today!
Slow loading pages – The average visitor decides whether they like your site within 6 seconds, so don’t make a Digg user wait 10 seconds to load it.
Music – There are many reasons I hate using Myspace, but the main one is that music automatically loads on many of the pages. This is annoying! unless you are in a rock group, think twice before annoying Digg users with music on your site.
No paragraphs – If your text is in one giant block with no paragraphs then expect Digg users to hit the exit faster than you can say “burried”
Navigation - If visitors find it difficult to browse your site, they will leave. Digg users are not going to read the rest of your site if they don’t know where to look. Golden rule: make sure every page links to your homepage.
Too many colours – aaarrrggghhh, my retinas are burning. There is no need to have a site with loads of different colours. It doesn’t look cool and will have a negative effect on the Digg users.
Flash is not flashy – Don’t presume that every Digg user has high speed Internet. Having large loading time to show your silly little flash intro is a great way to annoy Digg users.
